== Why a Four-Stage Ladder ==

The Clan operates as a small, mostly-covert R&D-and-rescue cell with limited capital. Most of its public expression is necessarily ''symbolic''. The Mk0 → Mk3 ladder formalizes that the cosplay-grade version is a real first step (it builds the narrative, the brand, and the design constraints), the prototype-grade version is the present engineering reality, and the test/production grades are the funded-and-staffed future state.
