The Schumann Lattice is the federated, multi-site, narrowband 3–60 Hz monitoring network operated by the Tho'ra Clan and its Star Seer Observatory partners. Its purpose is to provide a continuous, publicly-verifiable, planetary-baseline record of the Schumann resonances (the global cavity-mode ULF/ELF signals that ring through the earth-ionosphere waveguide) and the local deviations therein. The Lattice is the most engineering-grounded of the PsiNet substrates — Schumann resonances are uncontroversial physics — and it is the substrate against which the more speculative Psi Field claims must show themselves.

Overview
A Lattice node:
- Measures the 3–60 Hz band with a magnetic (loop) or electric (vertical) antenna, low-noise pre-amp, and high-dynamic-range ADC.
- Computes continuous spectrograms with sub-Hz resolution; tracks fundamental (~7.83 Hz) and harmonics.
- Compares local readings against the Lattice mean (sliding-window) and against published reference stations (e.g. Tomsk, HAARP-archived data).
- Publishes signed spectrogram tiles to the Earth Intelligence Network via EIN Relay Nodes.
- Annotates coincident geophysical events (solar X-ray flares, geomagnetic storms, regional seismicity).
A 20-node Lattice across multiple continents resolves global vs local Schumann variation cleanly.

Schumann resonances are well-established geophysical signals with decades of literature; the Lattice is straightforward distributed ULF/ELF instrumentation.

Coincident multi-site monitoring resolves regional vs global variation in a way single-site monitoring cannot.

HRV-coherence and other operator-state metrics correlate with Schumann fundamental amplitude / harmonics within statistical limits. There is a body of published claims; the Lattice + Psi Recorder cohort can confirm or refute.

Local Schumann anomalies index local Psi Field geometry. This is the Tho'ra-doctrinal interpretation and the deeper Resonant Finder hypothesis. The Lattice's non-psionic outputs stand on their own as published geophysics.
Subsystems and BOM
Mk0 (per node, target ≤ \$250)
- Vertical antenna (PVC mast + ~2 m wire) or magnetic loop (~1 m square) — \$30
- Low-noise pre-amp (INA163 / OPA1611 stage) — \$30
- USB audio ADC (Behringer UMC202HD or similar, 96 kHz / 24-bit) — \$100
- Raspberry Pi 4 + storage — \$80
- Enclosure, cables, mains filter — \$30
Software: open-source ELF/ULF capture + Lomb–Scargle or FFT spectrogram; publishes to local EIN Relay Node.
Mk1 (per node, target ≤ \$1 200)
- Buried loop antenna (≥ 2 m square, two-axis) — \$200
- Differential pre-amp with mu-metal shielding — \$200
- 24-bit ADC with PPS-disciplined timing (Cirrus / TI delta-sigma) — \$300
- GPS receiver (GNSS + PPS) — \$80
- Industrial Pi or N100 mini-PC — \$200
- Weatherproof enclosure (NEMA 4X) — \$120
- Mains-isolated power + UPS — \$100
Mk2 / Mk3
Mk2: tri-axial magnetic + tri-axial electric; vault-grade time discipline; live cross-site coincidence detection. Mk3: federated Lattice with ≥ 20 sites globally and documented continuous coverage.
Build Notes
- Antenna siting beats expensive electronics. A modest antenna in a quiet site outperforms a premium antenna in an urban site by 20+ dB.
- Mains filtering is critical. 50/60 Hz harmonics dominate the band; aggressive filtering required.
- Time discipline. GPS-PPS-disciplined sampling; without it, multi-site coincidence detection is unreliable.
- Burial. Buried loops dramatically reduce wind-induced noise; if the geography allows, bury.
Safety and Ethics
- No emission. The Lattice is sensor-only.
- Public data by default; the Schumann record is a public-good output.
- Operator-site privacy: nodes publish data + station ID, never operator personal data.
- Federation: every node operator may withdraw at any time; the Lattice is voluntary.

Failure Modes and Mitigations
- Mains hum contamination. → Aggressive filtering; antenna siting; mu-metal shielding.
- Wind-induced antenna noise. → Burial; mechanical stabilization.
- Clock drift. → GPS-PPS disciplined sampling required for Mk1+.
- Local EM contamination. → Site survey + documented mitigations; per-site baseline.
- Cross-site time-skew. → PPS at every node; coincidence-window padding documented.
- Operator drop-out. → Federation tolerates individual site loss; no single point of failure.
