Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique

Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT) is the hypnotic regression methodology developed by Dolores Cannon (1931–2014) from approximately 1968 onward and codified into a formal training programme circa 2002. The technique uses sustained deep somnambulistic-state hypnosis to access what practitioners describe as the "Subconscious" or "Higher Self" — distinguished doctrinally from the everyday conscious mind — for the dual aim of therapeutic resolution and information retrieval.

Method overview

A standard QHHT session runs 4–6 hours and proceeds in defined phases:

1. Interview (1–2 h). Personal history, presenting concerns, list of questions prepared for the Subconscious.
2. Induction. Visualisation-based induction targeting Esdaile-state / deepest somnambulistic depth — substantially deeper than typical clinical hypnosis.
3. Past-life scenes. Client traverses what they experience as past-life scenes, with practitioner-guided focus on significant events. Multiple scenes typical per session.
4. Subconscious contact. Practitioner addresses "the Subconscious" or "Higher Self" directly with the prepared client questions and with practitioner follow-ups.
5. Healing phase. Subconscious is invited to address physical / emotional issues identified in the interview.
6. Emergence. Standard hypnotic emergence, debrief, recording handover.

Recommended one session per client per six-month interval. Recording is mandatory and provided to the client.

Doctrinal commitments

QHHT is distinguished from clinical hypnosis by several explicit framing choices:

• Subconscious as agency. Treated as a discrete intelligent agency with non-local information access, not as repressed cognitive material.

A rigorous QHHT efficacy study would specify: randomised assignment; matched-depth-hypnosis control; pre-registered therapeutic outcomes; independent verification of factual content claims from Subconscious channel; blinded outcome assessment. Such studies have not been published.

Within the cluster, the absence is attributed to mainstream-research disinterest; from a methodological standpoint, the absence is what it is — the therapeutic and informational claims of QHHT remain in the testimonial / case-study evidentiary class rather than the controlled-trial class.
