J-Rod is the designation given in the Dan Burisch disclosure account to an extraterrestrial entity — described as a future-human hominoid rather than an off-Earth species — interacted with at the S4 Facility between approximately 1994 and 2003. The name "J-Rod" is given by Burisch as a phonetic approximation of the entity's vocalised self-designation; alternate spellings ("Jarod", "J. Rod") appear in cluster literature.
Within the Disclosure cluster's broader synthesis, J-Rod has become a representative figure for the "future-human" interpretation of "Gray" type ET phenomena — distinguished from interpretations that treat the same morphological type as a literally-extraterrestrial species (Zeta Reticuli origin, per the Betty and Barney Hill case literature) or as a clone / biological-android construct.
