UFO Secrecy
UFO Secrecy is the umbrella term used across the Cosmic Codex / Disclosure cluster for the multi-decade governmental and corporate concealment programme around Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) — more recently Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) — evidence.
Within mainstream public-record terms, post-2017 declassifications and Congressional hearings have shifted "UFO secrecy" from purely-speculative to partly-documented territory: the existence of dedicated military / intelligence-community study programmes (AATIP 2007–2012; UAP Task Force 2020; AARO 2022+) is now formal record, while the substantive content of those programmes' findings remains contested. The cluster's stronger claims of recovered-craft programmes, Reverse Engineering efforts, and Majestic 12-line coordination remain at the testimonial / speculative end.
Post-2017 documentation
The period since December 2017 (NYT publication of AATIP videos) has produced substantial declassification:
- AATIP (2007–2012, public 2017). Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program at Pentagon. Documented funding ~$22M.
- UAP Task Force (2020). Formal Navy-led task force.
- ODNI Preliminary Assessment (June 2021). 144 cases reviewed; 1 explained; remainder unexplained or in various categories.
- AARO (2022). All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, current standing body.
- Congressional hearings. Public hearings 2022, 2023; testimony from David Grusch (July 2023) alleging knowledge of recovered-craft programmes.
- Schumer-Rounds UAP Disclosure Act (2023 attempt). Proposed framework for disclosure of any classified UAP-related material.
These constitute genuine institutional acknowledgement that UAP / UFO topics have been subject to compartmentalised study and that specific incidents remain unexplained. They do not, by themselves, confirm the cluster's stronger claims.
Historical documented programmes
- Project Sign (1947–1949). First USAF UFO-investigation programme.
- Project Grudge (1949–1951). Successor; debunking orientation per Robertson Panel (1953).
- Project Blue Book (1952–1969). Public-facing investigation; ~12,000 cases, ~700 unexplained at close.
- Condon Report (1968). Funded by Air Force; concluded UFO study had limited scientific merit. Internally contested.
- Various foreign analogues. UK MoD UFO desk (1950–2009); French GEIPAN (1977+); various others.
Cluster-specific claims
The cluster's stronger claims extending beyond the documented record:
- Recovered-craft programmes. Roswell Incident (1947) and successive incidents recovered physical craft now under Reverse Engineering. David Grusch's 2023 testimony asserts this in formal Congressional record; physical evidence not yet produced.
- Majestic 12 / similar coordinating committee. Speculative; document trail contested.
- Project Looking Glass. Cluster-specific claim outside any acknowledged programme.
- Long-term suppression coordination. Cluster framing of post-1947 secrecy as continuous coordinated programme.
Mechanisms
The cluster's claimed mechanisms for sustained secrecy:
- Compartmentalised classification. SAP / waived-SAP / unacknowledged-SAP layers preventing congressional oversight per Grusch testimony.
- Cross-administration continuity. Programmes spanning multiple presidential administrations without full briefing.
- Witness intimidation. Specific cases of reported witness pressure post-disclosure.
- Public-narrative shaping. Coordinated framing of witnesses as unreliable; see Alien Hoax.
- Foreign-power coordination. Cross-national secrecy maintenance.
Per the post-2017 documentation, several of these mechanisms are now formally alleged by named senior witnesses; the substance of the underlying programmes remains classified or contested.
Disclosure-cluster reading
- UFO Secrecy is the principal example of Elite Manipulations suppression operating openly enough to be partly visible.
- The post-2017 disclosure trajectory is read as the controlled opening of a long-suppressed file.
- Operation Disclosure Official frames each new acknowledgement as confirmation of cluster framework rather than as fresh revelation.
- Earth Alliance is positioned as the faction driving the disclosure trajectory.
Critiques
- The well-documented compartmentalisation of national-security material does not require cluster-specific claims about its content.
- Specific recovered-craft claims (Grusch and predecessors) have not been corroborated with physical evidence.
- The cluster's "controlled opening" framing makes any disclosure trajectory consistent with the framework, reducing its falsifiability.
