Elemental Balance is the fundamental system governing combat, robot classification, and environmental interaction in Proto FusionGirl and the broader FusionGirl series. Derived directly from Universal Language, the Elemental Balance system organizes all entities and forces into interlocking hierarchies of Nature, Modality, and Cosmic Forces.

In the FusionGirl universe, Universal Symbols describe the fundamental structure of reality. The Elemental Balance system translates these symbolic relationships into gameplay mechanics:
- Every robot has a Nature (element), Modality, and Cosmic alignment
- Every environment has elemental properties that advantage or disadvantage certain types
- Every attack and defense follows elemental rules derived from Universal Language
- Balance — the interplay of opposing and complementary forces — is the key to mastery
