Universal Communications
Universal Communications is the Universal Language sub-system concerned with cross-species, cross-dimensional, and cross-temporal information exchange. Where Universal Language defines the formal structure, Universal Communications defines the protocol layer — how UL expressions are encoded, transmitted, decoded, and verified across any communication channel.
Overview
All communication is the transfer of UL expressions from one consciousness to another. Universal Communications studies:
- Encoding — How meaning-geometries become physical signals (sound, light, electromagnetic, psionic)
- Channel — The medium through which encoded expressions travel
- Decoding — How receivers reconstruct meaning-geometries from signals
- Verification — How communicators confirm shared understanding
The Communication Primitive
In UL formal terms, a communication event is:
- sender → channel(expression) → receiver
Which maps to: Point → Line(Enclosure) → Point
A Point (sender consciousness) emits a Line (directed signal) carrying an Enclosure (bounded meaning package) to another Point (receiver consciousness). The Angle between sender and receiver's reference frames determines how much translation is needed.
