Dan Burisch (claimed birth name Dan Crain; b. 1964) is a microbiologist whose disclosure-cluster narrative — published primarily 2002–2007 through interviews with Bill Hamilton, Marcia McDowell, and the Project Camelot team — describes work at S4 Facility involving direct biological interaction with J-Rod (an extraterrestrial entity), participation in Project Looking Glass, and progression to a senior Majestic-line advisory role under the renamed "Committee of the Majority" (PI-40).

His account is among the most extensively documented disclosure-cluster narratives — running to several hundred pages of transcripts, three book-length presentations, and supplementary technical material on "Lotus" biological projects — and also among the most contested. Mainstream investigators have not corroborated key credentialling claims; the SUNY-Stony Brook Ph.D. central to his scientific framing has been disputed.

Career timeline (per claims)

1986. Recruited from undergraduate biology into compartmentalised program.

1989–1991. Initial assignment at Frenchman Lake, then transition to Area 51-adjacent biological work.

1994. Begins direct interaction with J-Rod entity at S4 Facility. Tissue-sample work on J-Rod genetics — described in his "Lotus Project" framing as part of a broader effort to understand the entity's biological condition.

1996. Witnesses Project Looking Glass hardware operation; reports observing alternate-timeline content.

2001–2003. Reports continued S4 work; eventually departs operational role on stated ethical grounds related to Timeline Convergence forecasts.

2004–2007. Public disclosure phase: Project Camelot interviews, Eagles Disobey Inc. publications.

2007 onward. Reduced public profile; periodic appearances and continued advisory claims.

Substantive claims

J-Rod biology. Describes the entity as a hominoid future-human relative from approximately 52,000 years hence — a "Gray" in popular taxonomy — suffering from genetic degeneration related to environmental catastrophe.

Project Looking Glass. Describes a device using rotating cylinders of element-115 (per Lazar) and barium-titanate within a magnetic field, producing observable timeline-content windows. Operational from late 1960s; ended (per Burisch) ~2003 with destruction of the hardware due to detected Timeline Convergence hazard.

Timeline futures. Reports a "T1" timeline (catastrophic) and "T2" timeline (recoverable) with the historical 2012 timeframe as the bifurcation point. The cluster's Timeline Convergence discussion derives partly from this framing.

Cult of Dagon / Elite Manipulations. Claims of internal MJ-12 / PI-40 factional conflict; the cluster's later Elite Manipulations material builds on Burisch's factional descriptions.

Credentialling disputes

  • SUNY-Stony Brook has not confirmed the claimed Ph.D. enrollment / completion under either Burisch or Crain names.
  • Multiple investigators (notably ATS / Stuart Miller / Royce Myers) have documented inconsistencies.
  • Supporters (Marcia McDowell, Eagles Disobey publications) cite document-purging consistent with compartmentalised-program clearance protocols.

The cluster's standard position is that absence of public records is consistent with — but does not constitute proof of — compartmentalised-program clearance.

Disclosure-cluster reading

Within the disclosure cluster:

  • Burisch is one of the most narratively detailed witnesses, with internal consistency across years of interviews.
  • His Project Looking Glass account is the principal source for the cluster's Timeline Convergence framework.
  • His J-Rod biology account anchors much of the cluster's future-human (rather than literally-alien) interpretation of "Gray" ET phenomena.
  • His public withdrawal (~2007) is variously interpreted as program-reactivation, narrative collapse, or strategic operational silence.

Critiques

  • Credentialling disputes remain unresolved by independent verification.
  • Several technical claims (Element 115 / barium-titanate device configuration) draw substantially on Lazar's earlier framework rather than constituting independent technical evidence.
  • The detailed timeline-content claims (T1, T2) make no falsifiable near-term predictions that can be checked.
