Timeline Manipulation
Timeline Manipulation is the cluster's name for the operator action of deliberately modifying the structure of the Cosmic Time Map — redirecting branch-traversal, anchoring or releasing branch-occupation, inducing or resolving convergence events. Where Time Viewing is the perceptual faculty (read), Timeline Manipulation is the corresponding action (write).

Timeline Manipulation, as cluster construct, comprises several distinct action-types:
- Branch-bias. Shifting the local probability-weight across alternate branches such that the observer's continuing experience increasingly tracks a chosen branch.
- Convergence-driving. Catalysing Timeline Convergence events that merge previously-distinct branches into a shared trunk.

- Branches are real. Per cluster cosmology, alternate timelines (Parallel Realities) exist as actual sub-manifolds of the Cosmic Time Map, not merely as counterfactual possibilities.
- Observers traverse branches. What an observer experiences as continuous personal time is a path through the branch-structure.
- Manipulation re-routes the path. Acts of manipulation redirect the observer's path through the branch-structure; they do not retroactively erase branches.
This framing has the philosophical consequence that the Grandfather Paradox dissolves: an act that would contradict a past event simply re-routes the observer to a branch where the contradiction does not arise. Timeline Manipulation is claimed accessible to several operator classes:
- Manipulation operators. Trained practitioners deliberately engaging in branch-bias acts.
- Temporal anchors. Operators stabilising local branch-occupation, the conservative counterpart to manipulation.
- Mass-coherence catalysts. Operators whose role is convening mass-coherence events that amplify others' manipulation.
