Intention as Psi Source
Intention as Psi Source is the framework hypothesis that focused conscious attention is the primary mechanism by which the Psi Field is generated and modulated by a human operator. It is the conceptual bridge between subjective will and the framework's field-theoretic formalism.

The claim
In the Psi Field Lagrangian, the source term is $ J_{\psi } $. The hypothesis states:
$ J_{\psi }(x,t)=\beta \cdot \Phi (x,t) $
where Φ(x, t) is an intention density — a coarse-grained measure of how much coherent attention is currently directed at the point (x, t) by all observers — and β is a coupling constant (currently undetermined; framework estimates β ~ 10⁻⁴⁰ in natural units, well below current experimental sensitivity for laboratory-scale Φ).
A higher intention density at (x, t) yields a stronger local ψ amplitude, which (through the $ \alpha F_{\mu \nu }F^{\mu \nu } $ vertex) is hypothesised to produce small but measurable EM signatures.
Operationalising intention
Intention density is unobservable directly but has proposed proxies:
- Number of attending observers (e.g. a meditation group focused on a single object).
- Quality of attention indexed by Resonant Neurobiology markers (alpha coherence, HRV).
- Duration sustained — exponentially weighted by recent history.
A useful operational definition for the Psi Recorder and Psi Tether:
$ \Phi _{\text{eff}}=\sum _{i}w_{i}(t)\cdot C_{i}(t) $
over operators i, where C_i is operator i's instantaneous coherence score (cardio-respiratory or alpha) and w_i is a participation weight.
Predictions
- A larger coherent group (more operators above coherence threshold) should produce a larger measurable ψ-coupled EM signature than the same operators uncoordinated.
- Pre-registered group-coherence tasks should show effect sizes scaling with group size and coherence — testable via PEAR-style random-event-generator deviation experiments.
- The Resonant Hailer and Coherence Beacon should produce larger downstream effects in operator cohorts than equivalent random EM emission.
All three predictions are unverified at production confidence; the second has historical PEAR-lineage support that has not been independently replicated to mainstream standard.
Distinction from "wishful thinking"
The framework's claim is not that wishing makes things happen. The claim is that coherent attention generates a real (if small) field perturbation, which has the same operational status as gravitational waves before LIGO: predicted by formalism, undetected at current sensitivity, falsifiable.
Operators are explicitly cautioned: Mk0–Mk1 Psi-Tech does not amplify intention to macroscopic effect. Any subjective experience of efficacy in current devices is best explained by ritual, placebo, and group-coherence wellbeing effects — themselves real and valuable, but not "thoughts moving matter".
