Psi Power

Psi Power is the Psi-Ops skill corresponding to wattage in the Ohm's Law of Psi framework. It is the rate of useful work done by psi energy — the combined product of Pressure and Flow.

Power is the product of Angle and Curve — intensity (how much) times process (how fast). Neither Pressure alone (stored but unused) nor Flow alone (movement without force) produces Power. Only their combination does work.

• Explosive output — the "strike" moment of a psionic technique
• Heat flash, visible phenomena, physical force on objects (at high levels)
• The sensation of "impact" during energy work with partners
• Corresponds to rapid change in Ψ(x,t): large dΨ/dt

Training

• Combined pressure+flow drills — build Pressure then release as Flow → measure the Power output
• Impact exercises — target practice with measurable effects (psi wheel, candle flicker, partner push)
• Group amplification — N practitioners → W_ψ ~ N² (from the Ψ interaction term)

In-Game Mechanic

Psi Power determines:

• Burst damage output of psionic abilities
• Maximum intensity of a single technique
• Macro-PK threshold (Power > threshold → observable physical effects)
• Group resonance amplification factor
