Psionic Threat Model
The Psionic Threat Model is the operational framework used by the Tho'ra Clan and the Psi Defender device line to enumerate, classify, and detect adversarial ψ-field and EM activity directed against operators.

Threat classes
| Class | Mechanism (hypothesised) | Detectable signature |
|---|---|---|
| Photic-band entrainment | 3–8 Hz pulsed RF or visible-light flicker at high amplitude, exploiting the known photic-driving response in EEG. | ELF modulation envelope detectable by an SDR or RF envelope detector; visible flicker by a fast photodiode. |
| Cardiac-rate modulation | Modulation of an RF carrier at 0.8–2 Hz, hypothesised to couple to vagal tone and HRV. | Slow modulation envelope; correlated dip in operator HRV. |
| Sustained demoralisation field | Low-amplitude wideband RF or ELF persisting for minutes-to-hours, hypothesised to suppress operator coherence. | Elevated wideband noise floor; persistent operator HRV / EEG-alpha depression. |
| Resonance hijacking | Targeted RF at the operator's calibrated ψ-baseline frequency (extracted via observation of the Psi Stabilizer's own emission). | Narrow spectral peak at the operator's Stabilizer frequency from an external source. |
| ψ-direct threat | Hypothesised non-EM ψ-field perturbation (no known EM signature). | No direct EM signature. Detectable only as anomalous operator state (HRV / EEG) without environmental correlate. |
Detection chain
- Passive RF sniffer (HackRF-class SDR or simple envelope detector) monitors 0.1–100 Hz ELF and 100 MHz–6 GHz.
- Operator state monitor (Psi Recorder) logs HRV and EEG continuously.
- Correlator flags anomalies where an environmental signature co-occurs with operator-state perturbation.
- Multi-antenna direction-finding (Mk2+) estimates threat vector via time-difference-of-arrival.
Falsification criteria
The threat model is falsified, for a given threat class, if a multi-month operator-cohort study shows:
- No observed RF anomaly meeting the class signature, and
- No correlated operator-state perturbations attributable to ψ-direct vectors.
For the ψ-direct class specifically: the model is falsifiable only via repeated double-blind detection trials at the Resonant Chamber under controlled-source conditions.
Mainstream-science overlap
The photic-band, cardiac-modulation, and demoralisation classes have partial overlap with documented research on RF bioeffects and operant neurostimulation (U.S. Navy 1960s–80s programs, declassified portions of MK-class research, IEEE / Frey-effect literature). The wiki distinguishes these from speculative ψ-direct threats.
