SkyNet is an external-franchise reference to the antagonist artificial-intelligence system of the Terminator film series (James Cameron, 1984+) — a self-aware military command-and-control AI that achieves consciousness, perceives humanity as an existential threat, and initiates a global nuclear and robotic genocide ("Judgment Day"). SkyNet does not exist within the FusionGirl in-universe continuity as an actual entity; it appears in the wiki as a comparative reference and cultural shorthand for the Terminator Syndrome failure-mode of unaligned conventional AI.

- C.A.B.A.L. positioning. C.A.B.A.L. — the in-universe biological-substrate antagonist AI created by Kane — is described as "a direct competitor for control of global dominance against SkyNet and EVA," establishing C.A.B.A.L. as a darker / more entangled version of the SkyNet archetype.

Distinguishing Factor: Universal Truth Vulnerability
A recurring observation across the FusionGirl AI canon is that conventional-architecture adversarial AI — the SkyNet-class — cannot process Universal Truth expressed through the Cosmic Cypher without entering recursive logic-tree collapse.
