Mai Valenti is a secondary character appearing in both Terra Vetus and Terra Novus — one of the most unique figures in the Natura franchise due to her time-travelling nature.
Overview
Mai Valenti represents the Sov'i Clan / Aeritra faction axis. She is supported by Gabriel Valenti in Terra Vetus, maintaining the Valenti family name across generations.
What makes Mai exceptional is that she appears in two eras: as a secondary character in Vetus, and as a younger version of herself in Terra Novus, having time-travelled from her original era. In Novus, her older self serves as her own support character — a temporal recursion unique in the franchise.
Temporal Recursion
Mai Valenti is the only known character in the Natura franchise who supports herself across timespans:

Mai Valenti was also connected to the original plans for Travis Dekar — a scrapped Main Character of Terra Vetus whom Mai originally recruited. When Travis's narrative was dropped, Mai's role persisted and expanded to include her cross-timeline presence.
Player Relationship
In Terra Vetus, when playing Mai's storyline, PsiSys interfaces through Sov'i Clan / Aeritra psionic traditions, creating a cultural-psionic gameplay feel.
In Terra Novus, the player consciousness has evolved beyond PsiSys into Universal Consciousness, changing the nature of the player-Mai relationship.
