A Corruption Matrix is a malicious neural network modification used by The Nefarium to control and puppet individuals across the cosmos. It is the primary mechanism through which the Nefarium maintains its grip as a transdimensional crime syndicate.

A Corruption Matrix is a parasitic pattern installed into a being's neural network — whether biological or artificial — that:
- Overrides the host's free will and autonomous decision-making
- Establishes a direct control channel to Nefarium command structures
- Suppresses emotional processing and empathic responses
- Creates dependency on Nefarium energy sources (Nether)
- Gradually degrades the host's original personality and identity
Unlike conventional mind control, a Corruption Matrix is not a temporary influence — it is a permanent structural modification to the neural architecture of the victim. Removing it requires deep intervention using Universal Language or equivalent psionic techniques.
