Psi Blades are melee weapons formed from projected Psi Fields — pure psionic energy shaped into a cutting edge. They are distinct from Fusion Blades (which use fusion reactions and plasma) and can be generated by any suit or device equipped with sufficiently powerful Psi Emitters.

Mechanism

A Psi Blade is a concentrated, coherent psionic field shaped into a blade geometry. The Psi Emitters project a field so intense and narrowly focused that it can cut through physical matter by disrupting molecular bonds at a psionic level.

Characteristics

• Weightless — no physical mass; only the emitter hardware has weight
• Variable length — can be extended or retracted at will
• Intangible to conventional counters — physical armor provides limited protection; psionic shielding is the primary counter
• User-dependent — blade power scales with the wielder's psionic ability and emitter quality
