Tarr'i is the main character of Terra Novus — a Fer'ka from the planet Canorbius who represents the evolution of the player consciousness from PsiSys/ASI (Terra Vetus) to Universal Consciousness.

Overview

Tarr'i is a magical cat/dog mix person (a Fer'ka) from Canorbius — an alternate version of Earth across the realms of infinite possibility where everyone wields Universal Magic of natural elementals as a birthright. She arrived in the Natura reality through natural Warp Zones — interdimensional fields that transport travelers through space, time, realities, and destinies.

Personality

Tarr'i is mellow, down to earth, and inexperienced with the cosmos. She is:

  • Naive and young — she allows new-to-the-story audiences a perfect character to experience the universe through
  • Naturally intuitive — her magic comes from holistic connection, not formal study
  • Uncorrupted by cosmic politics — she doesn't carry the weight of knowing what the Viran Empire has done
  • Grounding — where Amber Tho'ra is edgy and on-edge, Tarr'i is calm and centered

Magic: Natura vs. Universal Language

Tarr'i's approach to magic contrasts sharply with Amber Tho'ra's:

Tarr'i Amber Tho'ra
Style Holistic, natural, intuitive Precise, controlled, formalized
Analogy Musician playing by ear Musician reading sheet music
Approach Natura Magic — in tune with natural elementals Universal Language — quantum programming language
Strength Deep attunement, organic flow Precision, legal-grade modifications, scalable
Weakness Inexperienced with cosmic-scale operations Can be rigid, disconnected from intuitive flow

They can learn enormously from each other — Tarr'i can teach Amber to reconnect with intuitive magic, while Amber can teach Tarr'i to formalize and scale her abilities.

The Awakening

Tarr'i begins Terra Novus as the one crew member who doesn't know that Blue Boy's faction is a cosmic threat. Her naivety makes her the perfect POV character for audiences.

When Amber Tho'ra broadcasts the cosmic television special revealing the Viran Empire's crimes, Tarr'i experiences a sobering awakening — her innocence gives way to understanding, and she grows from naive newcomer to someone who grasps the true stakes of existence.
