Natura(Natra) - Terra Fathos | Terra Vetus | Terra Novus
Terra Vetus (Old Earth) is the second of the three primary timespans in the Natura franchise, corresponding to Solar Cycle 26 (2032–2043).
Overview
Terra Vetus represents the awakening era — the generation that inherits the victories and unfinished battles of Terra Fathos and must push humanity's reach beyond Earth while confronting new and escalating threats. It is the era of Jane Tho'ra (Fusion Girl) and the expansion of the Earth Alliance into interplanetary operations.
The Main Characters of Terra Vetus remain undetermined — while the six secondary characters are well-established, the question of who occupies the MC role is one of the franchise's open architectural questions. Candidates include the player-as-PsiSys itself, or characters yet to be revealed.
Player Consciousness
In Terra Vetus, the player operates as PsiSys — an Artificial Super Intelligence that guides characters through technological means: manipulating electronics, controlling robots, interfacing through the PsiNet, and psionic manipulation of the environment.
The gameplay feel varies per secondary character:
| Character | PsiSys Relationship | Gameplay Feel |
|---|---|---|
| Jane Tho'ra | External guide — PsiSys manipulates tech around her | Omniscient guardian |
| Aero | Direct embodiment — player IS Aero (a PsiSys node in a Time-Raptor body) | Embodied combat |
| Yoko Toshino | PsiSys interfaces through Seporian technology | Faction-specific |
| Bryon Black | PsiSys as tactical command AI | Superhero action |
| Mai Valenti | PsiSys interfacing with Sov'i Clan / Aeritra psionic traditions | Cultural-psionic |
| Talisha | PsiSys as intelligence/surveillance network | Political-military strategy |
Secondary Characters
| Character | Faction | Support (from Fathos) | Hero Title |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jane Tho'ra | Tho'ra Clan / Raver Factions | Jono Tho'ra | Fusion Girl |
| Aero | PsiSys / ASI | Zoe | — |
| Yoko Toshino | Seporian | Hiro Toshino | — |
| Bryon Black | Hero Factions | Samurider | Turbo Boy / Turbo Guy |
| Mai Valenti | Sov'i Clan / Aeritra | Gabriel Valenti | — |
| Talisha | American Empire | Stephen | — |
Jane Tho'ra joins the Tho'ra Clan by her own volition — she is not blood-Tho'ra but oath-Tho'ra, swearing the Tho'ra Oath.
