This is not metaphorical. The Viran Empire has literally rewritten the fundamental structure of reality to enforce their dogma — warping cosmic code so that their religious narrative is woven into the destiny patterns of the universe. Through this act of cosmic vandalism, they have:

The Viran leadership are simultaneously the cause of the super-cosmic crisis AND active participants in the intergalactic blood-trade — profiting from the suffering their cosmic vandalism creates. They break reality, harvest the pain, and call it God's will.

This positions them as even more dangerous than The Nefarium in some ways — the Nefarium knowingly serves evil for profit, but the Viran Empire does the same while genuinely believing they are righteous.

The Tho'ra Clan universally shares a deep, existential fury toward the Viran Empire. From the Tho'ra perspective:
* Blue Boy — Viran heir on the Terra Novus crew; carries universal destiny reset capability

* The cosmos is sacred — it is not to be rewritten for anyone's benefit
* Causing the Draken Seforthi incursions (even indirectly) is an unforgivable act
* The arrogance of manipulating all of time and space to validate one religion is a profound personal affront
* Every faction that has been disclosed or declassified by the Tho'ra Clan agrees that the Viran Empire's actions represent a massive super-cosmic threat

All Tho'ra share this opinion.

Viran Agents
Viran agents operate with a universal destiny reset capability — their empire's cosmic imprinting gives them a form of plot armor written into the code of reality itself. They can "always be there" because their empire engineered destiny to make it so.

The most notable Viran agent in the Terra Novus crew is Blue Boy.

The Viran Empire (also Vyrin Empire) is the oldest and most powerful civilization in the known universe — and the root cause of the Draken Seforthi crisis that threatens all of existence.

Overview

The Viran Empire committed the ultimate cosmic crime: they imprinted their religion (Esus) into the very fabric of the universe. This act of cosmic-scale religious imperialism created structural weaknesses in reality itself — tears in the cosmic fabric through which the Draken Seforthi can enter and feed.

Worse: the Viran Empire profits from the suffering their actions cause through the intergalactic Life-Blood Trafficking trade.

The Crime

Step Event Scale
1 Viran Empire imprints Esus into the fabric of the universe Cosmic
2 Imprinting creates structural cracks in reality Dimensional
3 Draken Seforthi exploit these cracks (Void Incursions) Universal
4 A Draken targets Earth — a sacred Nexus World — as a Cosmic Egg Planetary
5 The same Viran Empire runs the Life-Blood Trafficking trade profiting from the suffering Intergalactic

The Coverup

The Viran Empire leadership knows their actions caused the crisis. They have been lying to maintain power through:

 • Eons of enforced belief — killing all who disagree with Esus
 • Literal timeline rewriting — modifying timelines to erase evidence of their error
 • Reality and destiny manipulation across local galactic superclusters (around the local super void)

This constitutes semi-illegal behavior from a multiversal legal perspective — behavior that no one has been able to punish because the Viran manipulate reality and destiny to prevent accountability. Until the Tho'ra Clan master Star Speeder Mk3 technology and Amber Tho'ra gains the ability to issue legal modifications to the universe using Universal Language.

Destiny Manipulation

The Viran possess the ability to manipulate reality and destiny across the local galactic superclusters surrounding the local super void. This is why attempts to expel their agents (like Blue Boy) from positions of influence simply don't work — the Viran can twist fate itself to maintain their operatives where they want them.

The Cosmic Broadcast

In Terra Novus, Amber Tho'ra broadcasts a massive cosmic event across the PsiNet:

 • Reveals the full horror of Viran actions to the entire connected cosmos
 • Labels Esus dogma a universally-domestic threat to all free lifeforms
 • Announces Star Speeder Mk3 technology enabling super-cosmic ascension
 • Issues legal modifications to the universe — finally prosecuting the Viran

This is the moment the cosmic status quo shatters. The Viran's eons of impunity end.

Something Worse

The fact that the Viran have gone unpunished for so long implies something worse may be occurring beyond just our universal cluster — a threat at a scale that even the Tho'ra (as a super-cosmic immune system) haven't been able to address. It is that bad.
