The Viran Empire (also Vyrin Empire) is the oldest and most powerful civilization in the known universe — and the root cause of the Draken Seforthi crisis that threatens all of existence.

Overview

The Viran Empire committed the ultimate cosmic crime: they imprinted their religion (Esus) into the very fabric of the universe. This act of cosmic-scale religious imperialism created structural weaknesses in reality itself — tears in the cosmic fabric through which the Draken Seforthi can enter and feed.

Worse: the Viran Empire profits from the suffering their actions cause through the intergalactic Life-Blood Trafficking trade.

The Crime

Step Event Scale
1 Viran Empire imprints Esus into the fabric of the universe Cosmic
2 Imprinting creates structural cracks in reality Dimensional
3 Draken Seforthi exploit these cracks (Void Incursions) Universal
4 A Draken targets Earth — a sacred Nexus World — as a Cosmic Egg Planetary
5 The same Viran Empire runs the Life-Blood Trafficking trade profiting from the suffering Intergalactic

The Coverup

The Viran Empire leadership knows their actions caused the crisis. They have been lying to maintain power through:

  • Eons of enforced belief — killing all who disagree with Esus
  • Literal timeline rewriting — modifying timelines to erase evidence of their error
  • Reality and destiny manipulation across local galactic superclusters (around the local super void)

This constitutes semi-illegal behavior from a multiversal legal perspective — behavior that no one has been able to punish because the Viran manipulate reality and destiny to prevent accountability. Until the Tho'ra Clan master Star Speeder Mk3 technology and Amber Tho'ra gains the ability to issue legal modifications to the universe using Universal Language.

Destiny Manipulation

The Viran possess the ability to manipulate reality and destiny across the local galactic superclusters surrounding the local super void. This is why attempts to expel their agents (like Blue Boy) from positions of influence simply don't work — the Viran can twist fate itself to maintain their operatives where they want them.

The Cosmic Broadcast

In Terra Novus, Amber Tho'ra broadcasts a massive cosmic event across the PsiNet:

  • Reveals the full horror of Viran actions to the entire connected cosmos
  • Labels Esus dogma a universally-domestic threat to all free lifeforms
  • Announces Star Speeder Mk3 technology enabling super-cosmic ascension
  • Issues legal modifications to the universe — finally prosecuting the Viran

This is the moment the cosmic status quo shatters. The Viran's eons of impunity end.

The Amber Provocation

Beyond the formal Cosmic Broadcast, Amber Tho'ra's recurring posture toward the Vyrin exploits a specific theological vulnerability: Vyrin religiosity classifies nudity as supreme blasphemy. Amber weaponizes this against them in deliberate counter-doctrinal provocation.

Her signature move: massive holo-screen displays of herself fully nude delivering scathing Universal Language invectives the Vyrin cannot decode — UL being precisely the cosmos-attuned linguistic substrate the Vyrin have severed themselves from. The Vyrin perceive her only as "some kind of horrible humanoid demon they cannot seem to destroy." Their theological vocabulary has no category for what she is doing to them.

She is unreachable because she carries:

For the Vyrin, Amber is the worst possible adversary: untouchable, untranslatable, and theologically catastrophic. (See Amber Tho'ra#The Vyrin Provocation.)

Something Worse

The fact that the Viran have gone unpunished for so long implies something worse may be occurring beyond just our universal cluster — a threat at a scale that even the Tho'ra (as a super-cosmic immune system) haven't been able to address. It is that bad.
