Psionic Technology is the Cosmic Codex applied-technology navigation hub for the 25+ existing wiki pages describing devices, systems, and protocols that interface with the cluster psi-field substrate. This page routes the device-tier, frames technology classes, and clarifies cluster posture on which device-claims are in-universe canon versus mainstream-testable.

Device Classes

The cluster's psionic device tier organises along functional axes:

Theoretical Substrate

Cluster psionic devices are designed against the cluster psi-field theory substrate:

The cluster's design discipline runs from substrate-physics through engineering-specification through canonical-device pages, providing internal consistency across the tier.

Status Tiers

Different device classes have different status:

  • In-universe canonical. Most narrative-device entries are canon constructs without mainstream-physics establishment; their utility is internal-fictional and as scaffolding for cluster operational discussions.
  • Documented-analogous. Some device classes (REG-based detectors, field-coupling antenna designs) are analogous to documented Project Stargate-era apparatus or to PEAR-programme equipment; the substrate-physics differs from cluster claim but the engineering pattern is real.
  • Speculative-engineering. Devices for which cluster substrate-physics, if real, would imply construction possibility; this is the cluster's largest tier and the locus of in-universe engineering reasoning.
  • Suppressed-claim. Per cluster narrative, some device classes are operational under black-project development and suppressed from public domain — a testimony-based claim distinct from speculative-engineering.

Adjacent Technology Domains

Psionic Technology bridges:

Suppression Narrative

Per cluster narrative, psionic technology is among the categories whose development has been actively suppressed from public domain:

Cluster honesty position: suppression-narrative is testimony-grade, not document-grade; treating it as established overreaches the evidence.

Cluster Connections

Quality-of-Engagement Discriminators

  • Engineering-pattern vs working-device. Cluster device pages describe engineering patterns against cluster substrate-physics; whether any specific device works depends on substrate-physics being real.
  • In-universe vs claimed-real. Most device pages are in-universe constructs; treating them as documented apparatus overreaches.
  • Testimony vs document. Suppression narrative is testimony-grade; cluster honesty does not blur this into established fact.
