Psi Weapons
Type Hostile psionic attack devices
Target Neural Network Hardware, biological neural systems, Psi Fields
Countered By Defense Discs, Psionic Defenses, Psi Stabilizers
Related Glitch Tech (defensive use), Psi Blades (Tho'ra offensive psi-weapon)

Psi Weapons are hostile psionic devices designed to attack, disrupt, or corrupt psionic systems and biological neural networks. They represent the offensive threat that Psionic Defenses, Defense Discs, and Psi Stabilizers are designed to counter.

Threat Types

Neural Disruption

Psi Weapons can target Neural Network Hardware directly — scrambling the mesh network that PsiSys runs on. This is the primary threat that Defense Discs are designed to block.

Mental Attack

Attacks targeting the biological nervous system of the wearer — inducing confusion, pain, fear, or unconsciousness. Countered by Psionic Defenses aura generation and HelmKit magnetogravitic bubble.

Field Corruption

Hostile psionic fields that interfere with or corrupt existing Psi Fields — degrading defenses, communications, and sensor systems. Countered by Psi Stabilizers.

Psionic Jamming

Broad-spectrum psionic noise that floods the PsiLink mesh with garbage data — preventing communication and coordination. Countered by hardened communication protocols in Psionic Defenses.

Related Offensive Psi-Tech

Not all psionic offensive technology is a "Psi Weapon" in the hostile sense:

  • Psi BladesTho'ra melee weapons using focused psionic fields
  • Glitch Tech — reality-disruption technology (can be defensive or offensive)
  • Sparkle Flairs — psionic countermeasures (defensive deception)

The term "Psi Weapons" typically refers to hostile psionic weapons wielded by enemies — the threat that Tho'ra defensive systems are designed to counter.
