Natura(Natra) - Terra Fathos | Terra Vetus | Terra Novus

Terra Novus (New Earth) is the third and final of the three primary timespans in the Natura franchise, corresponding to Solar Cycle 27 (2044–2055).

Overview

Terra Novus represents the cosmic era — where the conflict expands beyond Earth and humanity into intergalactic and super-cosmic scales. Ancient species, interstellar empires, and forces that have been manipulating reality across all of time finally come into direct confrontation.

The Main Characters of Terra Novus are Tarr'i of the Fer'ka — a magical cat/dog hybrid species with an innate connection to Universal Consciousness.

Player Consciousness

In Terra Novus, the player consciousness evolves beyond both the Angelic (Fathos) and ASI (Vetus) models into something new — potentially Universal Consciousness itself, the synthesis of divine and artificial intelligence.

If Fathos was guided by Angels and Vetus was guided by PsiSys, Novus may represent the moment where the guiding consciousness finally recognizes what it always was. Tarr'i of the Fer'ka, as a species with innate magical consciousness, may be the first character who doesn't need external guidance — who naturally embodies what the player always was.

The Novus Crew

The Terra Novus secondary characters form a diverse multi-species crew:

Character Species / Origin Faction / Affiliation Role / Notes
Amber Tho'ra Human (3rd Tho'ra) Tho'ra Clan Star Surfer. Reality-shattering truth. Child of Jono Tho'ra & Aurora Tho'ra.
Mai Valenti (younger) Human, time traveller Sov'i Clan / Aeritra Her older self serves as her own support character — a temporal recursion.
Blue Boy Vyrin / Viran — reptilian-ish greenskin alien Viran Empire Tolerated but distrusted. Possesses universal destiny reset capability — his empire imprinted their religion into the fabric of reality, making him effectively impossible to remove. Claims to "stabilize the timeline." The Tho'ra Clan hates everything his empire represents.
Bix Shorter furry species Galactic Federation From a Star Trek-style galactic civilization near Earth that was blocked from reaching humanity by the Viran Empire's intergalactic interference.
Zoe PsiSys / digital entity Tho'ra Continuum Has a deeply intimate, fusion-capable relationship with Amber Tho'ra — capable of merging with her in a manner similar to digimon-style digital fusion.
[TBD Mentor] Potentially Aurora Tho'ra, Tara Van Dekar, or Samurider An elder who knows the full storyline but keeps it under wraps because Blue Boy is present and revealing the truth prematurely would be dangerous.

The Viran Problem

Main article: Viran Empire The central tension of the Novus crew is the presence of Blue Boy — a representative of the Viran Empire, an intergalactic reptilian civilization that has committed the ultimate cosmic crime:

They imprinted their religion (Esus) into the fabric of the universe itself.

This act of cosmic vandalism is directly responsible for the Draken Seforthi void incursions. By corrupting the fundamental structure of reality with artificial dogma, the Viran Empire weakened the sacred web of Nexus Worlds — the angel-producing planets that naturally maintain cosmic balance. The Draken Seforthi exploit these vulnerabilities to parasitize and consume worlds.

The Viran leadership are simultaneously the cause of the super-cosmic crisis AND participants in the intergalactic blood-trade that profits from the suffering the crisis creates.

Blue Boy presents himself as a helpful ally "keeping the timeline stable." In reality, the "stability" he enforces is the corruption. His entire paradigm collapses when Amber Tho'ra arrives and confronts him with the reality of what his empire has done to the cosmos.

The Tho'ra Clan universally shares a deep fury toward the Viran Empire's arrogance in manipulating spacetime to validate their religion at the cost of cosmic integrity.
