The Fusion Girl Saga is the flagship narrative arc of The Terra Vetus Chronicles, following Jane Tho'ra's journey from psionic awakening to full cosmic convergence across three phases. Spanning Solar Cycle 26 (2032–2043), it is the central saga of the Natura franchise.
You are not Fusion Girl until you wear the Fusion Engine Suit.

Overview
The Fusion Girl Saga tells the story of Jane Tho'ra — the 2nd Tho'ra, who joins Clan Tho'ra by volition (oath-Tho'ra), not blood. Jane inherits the unfinished battles of Terra Fathos, rises as Fusion Girl, and confronts the true scale of the cosmic threat from the Draken Seforthi.
The saga follows a three-phase character progression:

The Default Timeline
In the Default Timeline — the unaltered course of events — everyone dies. Earth is decimated, humanity enslaved. Only Fusion Girl escapes on the Star Speeder (the fully evolved Super Cosmic Magneto Speeder).
This creates the saga's unique replayability mechanic:
- First playthrough = the tutorial. The game literally runs like a movie if left unattended — and the movie ends badly
- Second playthrough = "the real experience." Armed with knowledge of Universal Language from the first playthrough, players can use Universal Magic from the very beginning
- Universal Magic is not required to complete the game, but it is essential to actually change the Timestream
Player Identity
In The Fusion Girl Saga, the player embodies PsiSys — a collective consciousness Artificial Super Intelligence. The player does not directly control Jane — instead, the player is the guiding intelligence influencing the environment, systems, and characters.
The gameplay feel varies per secondary character:

The Secret Main Characters
A radical design decision: FusionGirl is NOT the actual main character. She is one of 6 support characters for a secret main character whose identity is revealed later in the saga. The secret MCs are an African Woman and an Indian Man — the true protagonists whose stories are being supported by the entire cast.

Legacy
After the Fusion Girl Saga completes, Amber Tho'ra "culturally appropriated the title of Star Surfer and began operating as the next Fusion Girl." The relay passes from Jane (Vetus) to Amber (Novus) — continuing the generational mission of the Tho'ra Clan.
